Our line of CMS Starch products provide thickening and work well across a range of processing conditions. This cost-effective line of cook-up starches is produced from tapioca and as such is Non-GMO and provides the clean flavour, neutral colour, and soft-gel like texture that are inherent qualities of all tapioca starch. CMS - C1 is a thickening starch based on tapioca and is Non-GMO. It is used in noodles, dumplings and processed meats, where it helps restrict the swelling in meat and provides a firm, chewy desirable texture suitable for noodles due to its dough-binding properties. Its short shelf-life is suitable for both refrigerated and ambient applications and has lower resistance to breakdown during cooking.
CMS - C2 is a thickening starch based on tapioca and is Non-GMO.
