Tate & Lyle Formally Introduces TASTEVA® Stevia Sweetener at Engredea

Tate & Lyle, a leading global provider of specialty food ingredients and solutions plans to showcase its TASTEVA® Stevia Sweetener in Anaheim, Calif., USA at booth 363 at Engredea, the largest natural and organic products trade show in the world. Drawing on the trending flavor of the year, blackberry, the company is showcasing the ingredient in a blackberry peach sparkling beverage formulation.

TASTEVA® Stevia Sweetener is the natural, zero-calorie stevia sweetener that offers a clean, sweet taste with no bitter aftertaste, meeting consumer demand for natural, low-calorie and low-sugar products. It achieves 50 percent or more sugar reduction without the bitter aftertaste, even at higher usage levels.

Because the bitter aftertaste associated with other stevia sweeteners is absent with TASTEVA® Stevia Sweetener, there's no need to use masking ingredients, which lowers the costs and complexity of formulation and leads to a simpler ingredient list for our customers.”

Engredea is the only event to showcase the entire natural products value chain in one place and is co-located with Natural Products Expo West. Nearly 300 companies are expected to be exhibiting, and attendees include more than 9,000 brand managers, formulators, product developers and senior executives who drive finished goods innovation.
