Tate & Lyle, a global provider of ingredients and solutions to the food, beverage and other industries, is showcasing its new partnership programme and award-winning innovations at Food Ingredients Europe (FiE) next month.
Visitors to booth E07 Hall 8 are invited to discover Tate & Lyle’s pioneering new support programme for food and beverage manufacturers, and innovative ingredients and application concepts throughout the three day show in Frankfurt (19 – 21 November).
Working in partnership
Tate & Lyle will introduce its new SPLENDA® Sucralose PLUS PROGRAMME a customisable concept-to-lab-to-market service that offers a valuable partnership to European food and beverage manufacturers by identifying opportunities, improving processes and bringing new, better and more cost effective products to market.
Innovative ingredients
Over the last two years, Tate & Lyle has won over 10 prestigious industry awards for ingredients innovation, demonstrating our commitment to developing new ingredients and solutions for our customers.
Visitors to the stand will be able to taste Tate & Lyle’s award-winning SODA-LO™ Salt Microspheres, which delivers a natural salt taste with lower levels of salt, thereby responding to consumers’ desire to minimise the level of sodium in their diet.
Find out more about the globally recognised TASTEVA™ Stevia Sweetener, which provides zero calorie sweetness and can cut sugar levels by 50% or more in certain food and beverages, without the bitter after-taste often associated with other high purity, stevia-based sweeteners.
Experts will also be on hand to demonstrate Tate & Lyle's newly launched ingredient PULPIZ™ Pulp Extender, a cost effective solution for tomato pulp replacement, and the latest additions to the business' portfolio, PromOat® Beta Glucan, a unique and functional fibre with access to authorised health claims, including EFSA, for lowering cholesterol and reducing post-prandial glycaemic response and prOATein® Oat Protein, a new and unique way to boost the protein content of a wide range of foods and nutritional supplements.
New application concepts
Bringing ingredients to life in its world class application centres is key for Tate & Lyle when working in partnership with food manufacturers.
Visitors will have the opportunity to try a range of in-house recipes developed with Tate & Lyle ingredients for each of the application categories including a demonstration of Drop by Drop, a highly concentrated dilutable for on-the-go consumption, made with SPLENDA® Sucralose.
Luis Fernandez, Senior Vice President, Global Applications for Tate & Lyle, said: "Innovation will be at the heart of conversations at FiE. Showcasing Tate & Lyle's extensive development capability at the show is key to us demonstrating how we can support food and beverage manufacturers. Our broad portfolio of ingredients and solutions is only possible thanks to highly valuable conversations with our customers enabling us to respond to their ever changing needs.
“We are proud to have won more than 10 awards for our ingredients and application concepts over the past two years, so visitors to our stand are certain to leave full of ideas and confident that they will get the support they need when working in partnership with us.”
On Tuesday 19 November 2013 from 12.15pm to 12.40pm, don’t miss Tate & Lyle’s insightful conference presentation on Integration of Open Innovation with an on-going New Product Development programme, led by Dr Andy Hoffman, Technical Director of Tate & Lyle Health and Wellness platform.
